Hang on a minute - I thought we said this site was free!

Yes, of course it is - but that doesn't mean we'll reject your generosity, and it doesn't mean it's free to run.

Realistically this site will cost money to set it up and keep it going - hosting, time to develop it, domain registration, bandwidth, etc. Perhaps with time we'll want to invest more to grow it's functionality and so on.

For the time being I'll be happy to provide what I can, but I'm hoping there might be a generous spirit among you to pay a little for the upkeep here so it can remain free for all to use.

So how can you support this site? 

There's a donations module to the right where you can send a donation of your own amount to me. Please note that the donation address is This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it (not seriousmagicians.com) but the money will go towards this site.

I'm also going to look into getting some relevant ad-words displayed. That way you can simply click on the ads and it will generate a little income for the site without costing you a penny (or a cent!).

But like you I don't want lots of advertising here either! So I'll do my best to keep it to a minimum.
