Hi all,

this is a two part post...

1)To say sorry! I've not been around here for a VERY long time. I'm really sorry for that because the community here, although little, was really lovely. An example of what is good about the internet! But I've been unceasingly busy, far too busy beyond the point of sense really. So, just sorry really that I started this site up for us all and then I disappeared. That's not what I planned to happen, but it is what life has thrown at me.

2)To ask if anyone else wants to be responsible for running this site? Indeed, to own it and look after it completely.
I used to run a web hosting business/ministry when I started Seriousmagicians.com and I was more able to accommodate it within that life. But as my church ministry has grown I've wholly failed to find any time to give to it ... or indeed any money. I was very grateful to the donations which came in initially to set up this site (Thank you again to you all for that generosity), but it's not been right for me to ask for further donations while I couldn't commit any time. so I've continued to pay for the hosting myself quite happily.

But I feel it's got to the point now where I can't see myself finding any time at all to further develop this site and I feel it should belong to the community of users in a more useful fashion.

So ... if you feel you have the time and the skills to run this website better than I've been doing, please email me. my intent is to offload the whole kit and kaboodle to whoever appears like they can do a good job. I will want to offload the hosting too so you'll need to consider how you will manage that one.

Just to be clear - there's no animosity or problem here, just my own reflection on being too comitted elsewhere and feeling that those of you who would like to see this place work deserve someone more comitted and more able to look after this site.

God bless,
much love,
Evan

Hi Evan,
Hopefully, you not having time for this site translates into success in other areas of your life.  With that said, I would hate to see this site go away as it appears it is the only one left that supports these incredible products.  While I haven't been too involved in video lately, when I did, I came here for updates, etc.  I feel so betrayed by the owners of SM for selling out to Adobe who destroyed the products.  Oh well....

My best to you and thanks for your time in this site.
